PacEHR Patch Release: Sunday 2/2/2025

PacEHR will be offline from 3am to 6am (eastern) on the 2nd of February to address a few issues.

Facility Patient issue when a patient moves from one Integrated location to a new location.

• The update will force a removal of the link from the integrated location when the patient is moved. This includes when a provider selects a different Location when creating an encounter and when a user edits the patient on the Patient Screen.

  • We recommend moving locations is completed on the patient screen to allow a streamlined re-link for the patient immediately after removing the integration.

Auto Saving encounter notes has an issue in some browsers when showing a preview of the encounter

• The update has fixed this across all utilized browsers.

Secure Email Delivery from PauBox was not utilized in all places

• The update fixed several use cases where Paubox was not utilized for re-sending notes including Resend encounter on PDF View, Resend notes on the facility editor, and Send Immediately functionality.

MatrixCare Issue with Medications not syncing properly

• The update fixes a use case where medications are 'Discontinued' [DC] inside the MatrixCare system. We are now marking the medication as 'Inactive' inside PacEHR.

Known Issue : MatrixCare is updating the 'End Date' for medications inside their tool. We have escalated this issue to them and will update our system asap.
