What’s New in PacEHR

New Features

• Dashboard Layout Change for Provider – Provider users will now have the ability to select one of multiple dashboard Layout Options that best matches their clinical documenting workflow.  Admin users will continue to have access to the legacy view (Map, Open Note, Schedule on the right). 

  Many of the new layout options are a result of provider feedback. 

• AI – Beta version available for use for all providers. AI is incorporated in the PacEHR product to support documenting clinical care encounters by the user entering, or dictating text, into the AI Rounding Note.

  PacEHR leverages OpenAI (ChatGPT) to convert providers text into a structured encounter document.

  Contact your system administrator for access.  Note* AI remains in development, expect periodic updates and additional functions for the remainder of 2024.

• Launch Notes - for communicating application specific information directly to the user including information surrounding upgrades, downtime, and new product features. 

• Improved ICD Search - Pacer has teamed up with Intelligence Medical Objects (IMO) to enhance the search capabilities within encounters and in the patient record.

Additional New Features...

Secure Email Update – Partnered with Paubox to replace Barracuda for secure email,  implementation will take place over the next 3 months.

General Improvements:

Assessment – New Assessment added:  Geriatric Depression Scale.  Admins can now remove incorrect Assessments.

eRx Update – We have updated the eRx logic to utilize the Facility address if the patient address is missing. This removes the need to enter the patients address during e-prescribing when it is missing.

Patient Floor and Room Number -  We added Floor and Room number to all patients.  This data can be edited by the users and will come over from integrated PointClickCare buildings.

Bug Fixes:

Speech to Text Fixed – Some users reported issues with Speech to text with ICD Codes and assessments after importing data.  This has been resolved.

Patient Profile Picture – The patient Profile picture was not updating from PointClickCare correctly. This has been resolved.

Encounter Notes not sending to Facilities – Some users reported issues with Encounter Notes / Progress Notes not transferring to integrated facilities(PCC and MatrixCare).  This has been resolved.
